I had never heard of John Cooper Clark I'm ashamed to say until while I was watching the latest episode of the Sopranos tonight and playing at the end was a tune which really stuck in my head! Of course I had to find out what it was and to my suprise found it was a version of the famous Salford punk poet's Chickentown!!
